St George’s Health and Wellbeing Hub on Suttons Lane, Hornchurch has welcomed its first patients in a great boost for the constituency. St George's Country Park Surgery (formerly known as the Upminster Bridge Surgery) opened its new doors to patients on 4 November as the first service moving into the site.
This new community asset will provide access, seven days a week, to a range of high-quality health and wellbeing services all in one place; transforming the way health and care is delivered for around 250,000 people living in Havering and surrounding areas.
By bringing together different partners and clinicians to support local residents in a joined-up way, the hub will make it easier for people to live well, stay well and age well.
Margaret Mullane MP said: “I am delighted to see the opening of a new community asset which will provide high-quality health and well-being services for local residents in Havering and surrounding areas. I encourage all residents to look into the services on offer."
St George’s Country Park Surgery have written to all practice patients and advised them that the relocation will have no impact on the care delivered as the existing practice team will transfer to the new site.
