Did you know that young Londoners up to the age of 18 can get free travel on buses and trams and discounted travel on public transport in London with a Zip Oyster photocard? (Fees apply for new and replacement photocards).
Parents or guardians must apply on behalf of their child at http://tfl.gov.uk/discounted-travel Please note, photocards can take up to two weeks to arrive, so we recommend applying in good time.
Parents and guardians are also reminded to check whether their children could be eligible for 18+ or apprentice Oyster photocards as well, which offer further discounts to those in education or undertaking apprenticeships.
