Rainham foodbank community wellbeing

Margaret Mullane MP has been contacted by the Rainham Foodbank that they are now part of a new community wellbeing initiative being delivered across Havering in partnership with local voluntary organisations and foodbanks.

As part of this exciting new offer, they will be providing a range of free support sessions and workshops designed to empower residents to improve their health, wellbeing, confidence, and overall quality of life.

Their proposed offer includes:

  • Group Support Sessions for positive mental health and emotional wellbeing
  • 1:1 Support and Community Engagement Sessions
  • Health & Wellness Workshops
  • Healthy Eating & Nutrition Support
  • Friday Hub Social Club
  • Digital Skills Workshops
  • Employment Support

To help them shape delivery around real community needs, they are currently gathering expressions of interest and feedback from local residents through a short questionnaire.

We would be grateful for your support in:

  1. Promoting this opportunity within your organisation/network
  2. Sharing the attached flyer and questionnaire with your clients/service users
  3. Encouraging referrals/expressions of interest from individuals who may benefit

This programme is intended to support residents across Havering to access practical wellbeing support in a welcoming community environment.

If you know individuals who may benefit, please encourage them to complete the questionnaire via the QR code on the flyer or contact Rainham Foodbank directly.
